Local governments and economic development organizations offer many valuable services — but there’s little data on whether those services truly align with the needs of US businesses. To address this gap in knowledge, a national survey is being conducted of local businesses. The goal of the survey is to ensure local programs are better matched to real business needs.
The survey is supported in partnership with leading state associations, including the Arizona Association for Economic Development, California Association for Local Economic Development, Economic Development Council of Colorado, Florida Economic Development Council, Illinois Economic Development Association, North Carolina Economic Development Association, New York State Economic Development Council, Ohio Economic Development Association, and Texas Economic Development Council.
All individual survey responses are confidential and will only be reported in aggregate.
